Conflict of Interest Policy for Editors & Reviewers

Conflict of Interest Policy

JAIMLNN requires all editors, reviewers, and authors to disclose any actual or potential conflicts of interest that could inappropriately influence the submission, review, or publication of manuscripts.

Authors:

Authors must disclose all financial, institutional, personal, or professional relationships that could bias their work. This disclosure must be included in the manuscript under 'Declaration of Competing Interests'. If no conflicts exist, authors should state: 'The authors declare no conflict of interest.'

Reviewers:

Reviewers must immediately notify the Editor-in-Chief if they: (a) have collaborated with any author within the past five years; (b) have a financial stake in the work being reviewed; (c) are employed at the same institution as any author; or (d) have any other relationship that could compromise objectivity. Reviewers in such situations must decline the review request.

Editors:

Editors must not handle manuscripts submitted by their current students, colleagues from the same department, close collaborators, or anyone with whom they have a personal relationship that could compromise impartial judgment. Such manuscripts must be assigned to another qualified editor or board member. The Editor-in-Chief must recuse from handling manuscripts submitted by journal co-editors or board members.

Violations of this policy should be reported to the Editor-in-Chief at editor.jaimlnn@gmail.com or, if the Editor-in-Chief is involved, to the Publisher at hmpublishers2@gmail.com.
