Digital Preservation Policy
Digital Preservation Policy
The International Journal of Agriculture and Animal Production (IJAAP) is committed to ensuring the long-term availability and integrity of all published research, regardless of future changes to the journal's operational status, publisher, or technology platform.
Preservation Services
IJAAP participates in the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN), a free preservation service developed by the Public Knowledge Project for open-access journals hosted on Open Journal Systems (OJS). PKP PN automatically harvests and archives published content in the LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) distributed preservation network, ensuring that multiple geographically distributed copies of the journal's content are maintained.
In addition, IJAAP's published content is indexed and archived through Internet Archive (archive.org) via OAI-PMH metadata harvesting, providing a publicly accessible secondary copy of the journal's scholarly record.
Commitment to Perpetual Access
All articles published in IJAAP are assigned a permanent Digital Object Identifier (DOI) through Crossref (DOI prefix: 10.55529/ijaap). DOI resolution is maintained indefinitely through Crossref's infrastructure, ensuring that published article links remain functional even if the journal's URL changes in the future.
Content Integrity
Published articles are archived in their final, peer-reviewed, publisher-formatted versions. No substantive modifications are made to preserved content after publication, in accordance with the journal's Retraction and Correction Policy.
