Research Data Availability Policy

RESEARCH DATA AVAILABILITY POLICY

IJAAP encourages authors to make the data underlying their published research openly available, in line with the principles of open science and reproducibility.

Data Availability Statement (Mandatory)

All manuscripts submitted to IJAAP must include a Data Availability Statement at the end of the article, before the References section. This statement must describe where the data supporting the reported findings can be found, or explain why data cannot be shared.

Acceptable statements include:

  • “The data that support the findings of this study are available from the corresponding author upon reasonable request.”
  • “The datasets generated during this study are available at [repository name and DOI/URL].”
  • “All data generated during this study are included in this published article and its supplementary files.”
  • “The data are not available due to confidentiality/ethical restrictions imposed by [institution name].”

Recommended Data Repositories

Authors are encouraged to deposit data in publicly accessible, persistent repositories such as: Zenodo, Figshare, Dryad, FAO Data in Trust, PANGAEA, or discipline-specific repositories. Data deposited should receive a DOI and be cited in the article’s reference list.

Review Data

Reviewers may request access to raw data to verify results. Authors must provide such data to the editors upon reasonable request during the review process.
