Digital Preservation and Long-Term Archiving

The Journal of Energy Engineering and Thermodynamics (JEET) is committed to the long-term preservation of all published content. JEET uses the following archiving mechanisms to ensure permanent access:

  • PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN): JEET is hosted on Open Journal Systems (OJS), which supports the PKP Preservation Network. This ensures that articles are automatically preserved through a distributed network of archiving nodes.
  • Internet Archive: Full-text content and metadata are made available to and indexed by the Internet Archive (archive.org) for perpetual preservation.
  • LOCKSS/CLOCKSS: JEET participates in [LOCKSS / CLOCKSS — confirm and add if active] for decentralized archiving.
  • CrossRef DOI Registration: All published articles are registered with CrossRef via their DOI prefix 10.55529, ensuring permanent, resolvable identifiers in perpetuity.

In the event of journal cessation, HM Publishers commits to maintaining access to the full archive and transferring DOI ownership to an appropriate body to ensure ongoing accessibility.
